The Most Effective ABM Platforms for B2B Enterprise Pipeline Generation in 2026

The Most Effective ABM Platforms for B2B Enterprise Pipeline Generation in 2026

For B2B enterprise pipeline generation in 2026, the strongest ABM platforms are 6sense, Demandbase, and ZoomInfo, which each report being named a Leader in the 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Account-Based Marketing Platforms. 6sense leads on predictive intent and buying-stage scoring, Demandbase on account-based advertising and orchestration, and ZoomInfo on the contact and company data underneath both.

Key facts

If your enterprise B2B revenue team is evaluating ABM platforms this year, the question is rarely whether to invest. The harder question is which platform will actually produce pipeline against your buying motion, deal size, and team maturity. This guide compares the leading platforms on what each vendor says it does, where analysts have placed them, and how to match a platform to the operating model you already have. It does not repeat how to run an ABM program from end to end. That process (account tiers, committee mapping, channel mix, measurement) is covered in our 2026 ABM marketing system guide.

A note on method: every capability described below comes from the vendor’s own website. I have left out vendor prices, because none of the enterprise vendors below publish them, and third-party price estimates vary too much to be useful. Ask each vendor for a quote scoped to your account list and modules.

What Makes an ABM Platform Effective for Enterprise Pipeline Generation?

An ABM platform combines account identification, intent signals, and multi-channel activation in one system, and it reports results at the account level rather than the lead level. For enterprise pipeline, a platform has to do three jobs well:

  1. Find accounts that are in market before they raise their hand.
  2. Reach the whole buying committee with relevant messages across channels.
  3. Show pipeline impact by account, so sales and finance trust the numbers.

The third job is where many programs fall down. The Forrester finding above (13 internal stakeholders plus nine external influencers in a typical decision) means a single engaged lead tells you very little. Demandbase’s benchmark points the same way: it reports that “organizations that align marketing and sales around buying groups achieve up to 2-3ร— higher win rates than teams that still center execution on individual leads”, and that “companies tracking 3-4 buying groups see a 48.5% higher win rate compared to organizations taking a broader, less structured approach.” Keep in mind that this is a vendor studying its own customers.

In my experience installing ABM systems for B2B SaaS and PE-backed companies, the right tool is the one that shortens the distance between “we know this account is in market” and “we are engaged with several people on its buying committee.” That gap is where enterprise pipeline gets made or lost.

Why Are 6sense, Demandbase, and ZoomInfo the Leading Enterprise ABM Platforms?

All three report Leader placement in the 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for ABM Platforms. 6sense says this was its fifth consecutive year as a Leader, and ZoomInfo says it was its second consecutive year.

A second analyst firm points in the same direction. Demandbase states it was named a Leader in The Forrester Wave: Revenue Marketing Platforms for B2B, Q1 2026, and that “out of 10 vendors evaluated, Demandbase secured the highest score in the Strategy category.” 6sense states it was also named a Leader in that same Forrester Wave. When two analyst firms using different methods reach a similar top tier, the platforms’ basics are probably sound.

Analyst placement is a starting filter, not a decision. Each of the three is strongest at a different layer of the pipeline engine.

Which ABM Platform Is Best for Predictive Intent and Buying-Stage Scoring?

6sense is the strongest choice when predictive intent and buying-stage scoring are the main job. It describes itself as a “Revenue AI platform” that “detects when businesses are in market and interested, even if they remain anonymous” and predicts buying stages.

According to 6sense’s product pages, the platform:

The trade-off is operational. Predictive scoring only creates pipeline when sales acts on the scores. If your sales team does not have an agreed play for an account that moves into a buying stage, the scores become a dashboard nobody uses.

Which ABM Platform Is Best for Account-Based Advertising and Orchestration?

Demandbase is the strongest choice when account-based advertising and cross-team orchestration are the main job. It calls itself “the pipeline engine for AI GTM that aligns teams to turn goals into revenue” and says it “turns signals into coordinated action across your entire GTM to prioritize the right accounts and drive revenue.”

Its advertising product, Demandbase Ads, “puts target accounts and buying groups at the center of your advertising strategy” and delivers ads “across display, video, CTV, social, and web.” The platform also covers account identification, buying group prioritization, and sales intelligence that shows “which accounts are active and who’s involved.”

On the Gartner side, Demandbase reports “strong performance across every Gartner Critical Capability, including New Account Acquisition Use Case, Account Retention Use Case, and Account Expansion Use Case.” That breadth matters if your pipeline target includes expansion revenue from existing customers, not just new logos.

The trade-off is scope. Demandbase is built to connect marketing, sales, RevOps, and customer success. You get the most out of it when all four teams commit to working from it.

Which ABM Platform Is Best for Contact Data and Committee Mapping?

ZoomInfo is the strongest choice when the main gap is contact and company data for mapping buying committees. Its marketing product is described as a way to “build precise B2B audiences using firmographic, technographic, buyer intent data and company-level insights on which organizations are visiting your website” and to “activate audiences across display, social, and digital channels” with predictive scoring.

ZoomInfo also reports a “4.7/5.0 average rating” in the Gartner Peer Insights Voice of the Customer report, which it says was the highest among vendors evaluated.

In practice, many enterprise teams use ZoomInfo as the data layer under 6sense or Demandbase rather than as their main orchestration platform. If you already own one of the orchestration leaders and your problem is incomplete committee coverage, a data platform may close more pipeline than a second orchestration tool.

Are There Strong Alternatives to the Enterprise Leaders?

Yes. Three alternatives fit specific situations where a full 6sense or Demandbase deployment is more than the team can use.

Madison Logic. Gartner’s only Visionary in the 2025 ABM report, per the vendor. Madison Logic describes an ABM platform “with AI intent data” that helps teams “target buying groups, activate multi-channel ABM, and measure pipeline impact.” It offers content syndication plus display, LinkedIn, connected TV, and audio advertising. Its 2025 releases included “Buying Group Identification and Engagement Reporting” and “ABM Audio Advertising.”

AdRoll ABM (formerly RollWorks). The vendor states that “in August 2025, RollWorks, our account-based marketing solution, was officially rebranded to AdRoll ABM.” It “scores accounts based on ideal firmographic, technographic, and geographic attributes,” tracks intent signals, and runs ads across “display, native, online video, mobile, social, connected TV ads, and digital out of home.” Its own materials speak to lean teams. It fits a motion built mostly on account-targeted advertising.

HubSpot ABM tools. For teams already on HubSpot, ABM tools are included in Marketing Hub and Sales Hub Professional and Enterprise. They include target account flags, buying roles on contacts (such as Decision Maker, Budget Holder, and Blocker), ideal customer profile tiers, and prebuilt ABM dashboards. HubSpot also says you can “launch LinkedIn campaigns that match your key account contacts.” This is not a replacement for third-party intent at enterprise scale, but it may be enough for a focused account list.

How Do the Top ABM Platforms Compare?

The table below compares the platforms on analyst recognition and primary strength, as each vendor describes them. Prices are omitted because the vendors do not publish them for these products.

Platform 2025 Gartner ABM Magic Quadrant (as stated by vendor) Forrester Wave, Revenue Marketing for B2B, Q1 2026 (as stated by vendor) Primary strength Best fit
6sense Leader, ranked highest for Ability to Execute Leader Predictive intent and buying-stage scoring Enterprise teams whose sales org will act on in-market signals
Demandbase Leader, furthest for Completeness of Vision Leader, highest Strategy score Account-based advertising and cross-team orchestration Enterprise teams running acquisition, retention, and expansion from one system
ZoomInfo Leader; only Customers’ Choice in Gartner Peer Insights Not stated by vendor Contact and company data, audience building Teams whose gap is committee coverage, often under another platform
Madison Logic Only Visionary Not stated by vendor Content syndication, intent, multi-channel including audio Teams that rely on content to open conversations with buying groups
AdRoll ABM (formerly RollWorks) Not stated by vendor Not stated by vendor Account scoring and account-targeted advertising Lean teams whose motion is mostly advertising
HubSpot ABM tools Not stated by vendor Not stated by vendor ABM inside the CRM and marketing automation you already run Existing HubSpot customers with a focused account list

The honest comparison is not list price. It is cost per pipeline dollar over a two-year horizon, and that number depends far more on your operating discipline than on the vendor. Match the platform tier to the maturity you already have, not the maturity you hope to have.

How Should You Choose an ABM Platform by Deal Size and Team Maturity?

Use these selection criteria in order. Each one narrows the list.

  1. Average contract value. When deals are small, a full enterprise ABM platform rarely pays for itself. My working rule: below roughly $25,000 in average contract value, start with your CRM’s ABM tools and good contact data. As deal sizes move into six figures, the enterprise leaders start to earn their place.
  2. Your dominant motion. If the job is spotting in-market accounts early, weight predictive scoring (6sense). If it is reaching named accounts across paid channels and coordinating teams, weight advertising and orchestration (Demandbase). If it is filling gaps in committee contacts, weight data (ZoomInfo).
  3. Who will operate it. Every platform above needs a marketing operations or RevOps owner. Without one, buy less software.
  4. Sales commitment. If sales has not agreed to a named target account list and a response standard for engaged accounts, no platform will fix that.
  5. Systems you already own. List what your CRM, marketing automation, and ad accounts already do. Pay only for the gap.
  6. Proof in your own data. Ask each vendor for a pilot or a readout using your own account list and CRM history, and define the success measure before the pilot starts.

When Should a B2B Company Not Buy an Enterprise ABM Platform?

Hold off on an enterprise ABM platform when any of these is true:

  • Average contract value is low enough that the extra pipeline needed to cover the platform will not show up.
  • You have no dedicated marketing operations or RevOps owner.
  • Sales has not committed to the named target account list.
  • You cannot yet report pipeline by account in your CRM.

In those cases, three lower-cost moves usually do more. First, buy verified contact data so you can map buying committees. Second, run account-targeted campaigns in LinkedIn Campaign Manager using uploaded account lists. Third, write a sales and marketing agreement that turns the target account list into a shared pipeline goal, with clear rules for follow-up. When that operating model works, adding a platform multiplies it. When it does not, a platform hides the problem.

What Drives Pipeline Results After You Buy?

Pipeline results depend on three operating habits more than on which logo you pick.

  1. Tier discipline. Put your heaviest effort on a short list of tier-1 accounts instead of spreading the same effort across the whole list.
  2. Sales and marketing working as one team. A shared account list, a written agreement on what counts as an engaged account, and a weekly review of account activity together.
  3. A play for every signal. Every signal the platform surfaces (a competitor comparison search, a pricing page visit, a leadership hire) needs a documented next step. Without that, intent data is decoration.

Demandbase’s benchmark supports the integration point: it reports that “companies using four advertising products report a 58.7% win rate, a 71% lift over companies running none.” Treat that as directional, since it is Demandbase’s data about Demandbase customers. The step-by-step version of these habits is in the ABM system guide linked above.

Frequently asked questions

What is the most effective ABM platform for B2B enterprise pipeline generation in 2026?

There is no single winner. 6sense, Demandbase, and ZoomInfo each report Leader placement in the 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for ABM Platforms. Choose 6sense when predictive intent is the priority, Demandbase when account-based advertising and orchestration are the priority, and ZoomInfo when committee data is the gap.

What is the difference between 6sense and Demandbase?

Both cover intent, account identification, advertising, and orchestration, so the overlap is large. 6sense leads its messaging with predictive models that score in-market accounts and predict buying stages. Demandbase leads with account-based advertising and connecting marketing, sales, RevOps, and customer success around shared pipeline priorities. In the 2025 Gartner report, 6sense says it ranked highest for Ability to Execute and Demandbase says it was furthest for Completeness of Vision.

How much do ABM platforms cost?

The enterprise vendors in this guide do not publish prices, and contracts vary with account volume, modules, and seats. Ask for a quote scoped to your target account list and the specific modules you will use. Then judge the quote against the pipeline you can realistically add over two years, plus the people needed to run the platform.

Do you need an ABM platform if you already use HubSpot?

Not always. HubSpot includes ABM tools in Marketing Hub and Sales Hub Professional and Enterprise, including target accounts, buying roles, ideal customer profile tiers, and ABM dashboards. If your account list is focused and your main motion is CRM-driven outreach plus LinkedIn, that may be enough. Add a dedicated platform when you need third-party intent or broader advertising at enterprise scale.

Is ZoomInfo an ABM platform or a data provider?

Both. ZoomInfo reports Leader placement in the 2025 Gartner ABM Magic Quadrant, and its marketing product builds audiences from firmographic, technographic, intent, and website visit data and runs them across display, social, and digital channels. Many enterprise teams still use it mainly as the data layer under an orchestration platform.

What should I ask ABM vendors in a demo?

Ask them to run your own target account list through the platform and show which accounts it flags as in market and why. Ask how scores and engaged-account alerts reach your sales team inside the CRM. Ask what pipeline reporting looks like at the account level, and who on your team will need to own the platform day to day.

Getting pipeline from the platform you choose

Most revenue teams can read this comparison and pick a sensible platform. The harder part is installing it: getting sales committed to the account list, connecting the platform to your CRM, mapping signals to plays, and building account-level reporting your board will trust. That gap between buying the platform and getting pipeline from it is where most of the value is won or lost.
